This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app, why, and where. The app has no accounts, no membership and no server of our own; we do not collect, store or sell your personal data. Below we describe only what the app needs to work and the third-party services involved.

1. Data processed

Location. If you allow it, the app uses your device location (precise or approximate) to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Location is requested only while the app is open; background location is not requested and not used. Instead of GPS you can pick a country, province and district manually. Your chosen location is stored only on your device.

Prayer time data. To calculate prayer times, your location's latitude and longitude (rounded to four decimals, about 10 meters), the calculation method and the month are sent to the Aladhan service (api.aladhan.com). The request contains no name, email, device identifier or account information. Aladhan may see your IP address as part of any internet request; its use is governed by Aladhan's own privacy policy (aladhan.com). Without internet, the app uses previously downloaded data or its own on-device calculation.

Place name. To show the city name for a GPS location, the app may use the Android system geocoder, which is provided by Google and may send your coordinates to Google for this purpose. If it is unavailable, the app falls back to its built-in place data.

Notifications. Prayer and adhan reminders are scheduled locally on your device; no server or notification token is used. If you do not allow notifications, none are shown.

Data stored on your device. Your settings (language, theme, calculation method, notification preferences), chosen location, Quran bookmarks, reading position and dhikr counter are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.

Compass. The Qibla compass uses your device's orientation sensors. Sensor data does not leave the device.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

On Android the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, approximate location (from IP) and your interaction with ads. This data is processed by Google; see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

• Consent: In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions that require it, Google's consent form (UMP) is shown before ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings > "Ad privacy options" (visible in those regions).
• First use: Ads are not shown in your first session.
• Advertising ID: In Android Settings > Google > Ads you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalization.
• Content: Ad content rating is restricted and the app is not directed to children.
• Ads are not shown on the home screen, during the adhan, while reading the Quran, or on the Qibla screen.

We do not use analytics, crash reporting or behavioral tracking services.

4. Permissions

• Location (precise/approximate, only while the app is open): prayer time and Qibla calculation.
• Notifications: prayer and adhan reminders.
• Exact alarms, foreground service and full-screen notification: to play the adhan at the exact time and let you stop it; the app collects no personal data through these permissions.
• Vibration: touch feedback.
• Internet: prayer data and ads.

5. Retention and deletion

Your data is only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of it. Since we keep no personal data on a server, there is nothing to delete on our side. For data held by Aladhan and Google, see their policies and your rights there.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Your rights

Under Turkish law (KVKK) and the EU/UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, object to the processing of, and withdraw consent for your data. Because most data is only on your device, you can exercise most of these directly in the app settings or by clearing the app data. For other requests, write to the address below.

8. Security

The app makes its internet requests over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data stored on your device is protected by your device's security and settings.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. For material changes the effective date is updated and the current text is published on this page.
